This policy explains what information Breathwork Pro handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the app has no accounts, your breathing history stays on your device, and we collect a limited set of pseudonymous usage, purchase and crash data to run and improve the app. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
The following never leaves your phone (removed when you uninstall the app):
Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device — we run no notification server.
| What | Examples | Why | Processor |
|---|---|---|---|
| App interactions | Screens viewed, onboarding steps completed, paywall views, exercises started/completed (exercise name, duration), feature usage | Analytics — understanding which features help people, and improving the app | PostHog (hosted in the EU) |
| Purchase history | Subscription status, purchase and renewal events, entitlements | App functionality (unlocking Pro) and analytics | RevenueCat, Google Play Billing |
| Crash logs & diagnostics | Stack traces, device model, OS version, app version at the time of a crash | Finding and fixing bugs | Sentry |
| Pseudonymous identifier | A randomly generated ID (not your name, email or advertising ID) shared between our purchase and analytics systems | Linking usage and purchase data for the same install, delivering your Pro entitlement | RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry |
We collect no precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, no advertising identifiers, and no health data from other apps or services. Payment card details are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see them.
The processors named above handle data solely on our instructions to provide their service to us (analytics, purchases, crash reporting), under their own privacy and security commitments. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
You can request deletion of the data we hold about your install at any time — no account needed. Contact us using the developer email address shown on our Google Play listing, ideally from within a few days of your request including the word "deletion". We will delete the analytics person record (PostHog), the customer record (RevenueCat) and associated crash reports (Sentry) within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Because the identifier is pseudonymous, deleting the app from your device also permanently severs the link between you and any previously collected data. Locally stored data (session history, streaks, preferences) is removed immediately when you uninstall.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or New Zealand under the Privacy Act 2020), you may also have rights to access or correct your data — the same contact route applies.
Breathwork Pro offers auto-renewing subscriptions (with an introductory offer for eligible users) and a one-time lifetime purchase, all billed by Google Play. Prices, renewal terms and cancellation are always shown before you pay. You can cancel anytime in Google Play › Subscriptions; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Breathwork Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If our data practices change, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
